Researchers found that leafy green vegetables, folate and multivitamin use appeared to offer protection against lung cancer. They discovered that 12 servings per month of green leafy vegetables reduced lung cancer risk by 17 percent. They also found that every 750 micrograms of folate per day decreased lung cancer risk by 16 percent.
