Are organic foods healthier for you and your family?  Common sense would answer a resoundingyes! as organically-grown foods are certified free of pesticides, herbicides and other toxins.  However, reading the conclusions of a recent study published by Stanford University may have you doubting your choice of an organic apple over the shiny, wax-coated conventional apple.  The study concluded that there is lack of strong evidence to prove that organic foods are healthier than conventional foods.  Hmmm…

Today on LivingFuelTV, we’ll dig deeply into this study and its findings by exploring how the study was actually conducted and who funded it.  Learn what this controversial and much-talked-about new study really says about organic versus conventional foods.  Click on the graphic below to watch.

A good rule of thumb is to try to balance the amount of toxins you are exposed to with the amount of antioxidants consumed on a daily basis. Particularly heavy toxic exposures within the environment should be treated with an even higher dosage of antioxidants, because this will help minimize the free radical-mediated disease process within the body.

Wisdom is applying knowledge we already have.

Ty Bollinger, Author of Cancer Step Outside the Box

Dear Living Fuel Family,

Say you work in an office with 30 others, and a co-worker comes down with a nasty cold virus.  A few days later, 4 others have identical symptoms, but the other 25 employees are unaffected.  All were exposed to the virus, but only a few succumed to it.  Why?  How does this relate to a much more insidious disease like cancer?

The cure for cancer is to not get it in the first place, similar to the group of employees in our example that avoided the cold virus.  While this concept may sound trite and overly simplistic, there is much truth in it.  Carcinogen is defined as any substance that can cause or aggravate cancer, and there are many carcinogens we know to avoid, such as tobacco smoke, asbestos, and nuclear fallout.  These are obvious to avoid.  Are there others?

We answer those questions today and more in Part 4 of LivingFuelTV’s special HealthAlert seriesCancer Step Outside the Box with Ty Bollinger.  Today’s episode is a must-see for those battling cancer, those supporting a loved one in their fight against cancer, or anyone who wants to avoid a cancer diagnosis.  Learn what you can do to help your body evade and fight cancer cells.  We’ll also discuss the importance of nutrition, environment, and movement in living a cancer-free life.
