Here are some “fast tips” for proper fasting:

• Replace breakfast or another meal daily with a Functional SuperSmoothie until you’re confident that your SuperSmoothie meal will provide five to six hours of sustained energy levels without hunger. Then you’re ready to replace another meal. Some people prefer to FUEL Fast just one of their three meals; some replace two of their three meals a day; others replace all three of their meals with a SuperSmoothie. Eat Smart Meals for each meal you do not have a SuperSmoothie. (See Smart Meals and SuperSmoothie and MicroSmoothie Recipes.)
• To extend energy and the time between meals, add fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, a splash of juice, or organic coconut milk/oil to your SuperSmoothie.
• Drink plenty of water, lightly caffeinated or caffeine-free herbal teas and SuperCoffee. Minimize caffeine between meals or within three hours of bedtime.
• Advanced weight optimization techniques are the Stealth Technique and Micro Fast. The Stealth Technique can be used 20 minutes before any meal, including a SuperSmoothie meal and at bedtime. The Micro Fast is an ultra low calorie Four Corners Fast, and it can be used to replace any meal, including a SuperSmoothie meal.
