KC: Welcome. This is KC and Monica Craichy, founders of Living Fuel, here to talk to you about our delicious and nutritious CocoChia bars.

Monica: We’re going to talk about what’s in it, why do I need it, and how do I use it? Let’s first talk about what ingredients are in the CocoChia bars.

KC: OK. We have two versions. One is the base version that has organic almond butter, organic chocolate, organic chia seeds, organic coconut, and our therapeutic sweetener, Therasweet.

Monica: Which all of that is sustained energy foods.

KC: Sustained energy foods. Yes. This is really a sustained energy bar. There’s a difference in what you’ll see in many other nutrition bars. Very low sugar, eight net carbs. The original CocoChia bar is your outdoor bar, your gym bag bar, your car, purse, whatever the case may be.

Monica: They won’t melt in your pocket.

KC: They won’t melt in your pocket bar. The double chocolate CocoChia bar is a dessert.

Monica: It’s a will melt in your pocket. [laughs]

KC: It will melt if you get it outside. You don’t want to have that mess. A lot of people don’t mind licking the package, but it isn’t very convenient, and you better have something to wash your hands with. So, indoors, this bar is like dessert. In fact, if you had it instead of your dessert, you would be much better off. The double chocolate CocoChia bar also tastes terrific in the refrigerator or freezer. Tremendous tasting bar, that is. Now, let’s get down to the nutrition. We have to talk about raw almond butter, organic almond butter. That’s a well-known, powerful super food, but the chia seeds are the ones that the Aztec Indians only used chia and water for long days of hunting. Coconut, the indigenous populations all around the world are extraordinarily healthy because they use coconut, medium chained, fatty acids. We talked about in the chia seeds, omega-3 plant ALA is the highest concentration of omega-3 of any plant source. It’s a tremendous sustained energy, healthy fats, fuel fats product that will make you feel better and make you more healthy.

Monica: The way we use them, they’re great for lunch boxes, book bags, gym bags, briefcases, purses. I’ve had my children, well, they’ll take the blue one that’s not wrapped in chocolate, and they’ll put it in the toaster oven. I put a bunch of butter on top of it, and it really tastes incredible.

KC: Like a warm brownie. It’s a moist, delicious product.

Monica: Then, the chocolate one, as KC mentioned, we do sometimes freeze those. It really is just a delightful frozen dessert. We’ve also, during the holidays, we’ve been known to slice up the bars and put them on a tray just for little bite-sized pieces for our guests. There’s lots of ways that you could use them, but I think if you try and you’ll find that it’s one of the most, if not the most delicious bar on the market right now.

KC: These are our award-winning bars, in terms of taste…

Monica: Yeah.

KC: …and in terms of nutrition.

Monica: Listen, our five kids are our taste test. So, if it passed their taste buds, you know it’s got to taste good.
