Super MeatballsFrom Living Fuel’s kitchen, comes a creative, clever, and delicious use of the extraordinary plant-based protein/fiber/antioxidant blend LivingProtein® and protein-rich organic grass-fed beef (or bison) to create nutrient-dense oven-baked LivingProtein® Super Meatballs!
 
Two of the key ingredients to today’s recipe—organic grass-fed beef and organic free-range eggs—are great sources of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), a naturally-occurring fatty acid that has been shown to help the body’s cardiovascular and immune systems, and to promote healthy fat metabolism and lean body composition.

This easy recipe is fun for kids to prepare, too!

LivingProtein®  Super Meatballs

 
LivingFuel LivingProtein®2 scoops LivingFuel LivingProtein®
1 pound organic, grass-fed ground beef (or bison)
1 cup grated organic parmesan cheese
2 free-range organic eggs
2 teaspoons organic Italian seasoning
4 cloves organic garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon fine ground Celtic Sea Salt (add more to taste)
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Use a spoon to make approximately 1-inch diameter meatballs.  Lightly coat meatballs in extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil and lay on a baking dish.  Place baking dish in preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, turning meatballs once during the process.

This terrific super recipe yields approximately 18 golf ball-size meatballs.  Each meatball contains 100 calories, 10 grams of clean protein, and 1 gram of fiber.
