Creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate are two delicious indulgences that, in their pure forms, are healthy and wise food choices. Unfortunately, conventional food companies have ruined these foods by adding loads of white sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, dangerous hydrogenated oils, artificial colorings, elumsifiers, and other chemicals that can negate the natural nutrition benefits of peanuts and cocoa.

Instead, select organically-certified peanut butter and cocoa powder, add LivingProtein, the best protein powder available, and create a fantastic protein-rich and fiber-filled LivingProtein Peanut Butter and Chocolate SuperSmoothie. The kid in you and the kids in your life will love it!

We love banana split sundaes, but not the sugar, calories, fat, and lack of nutrition that comes with them.  Here’s Living Fuel’s spin on this classic that you can fix your kids (or yourself) for breakfast!  TheLivingProtein Banana Split SuperSmoothie fuels you with 465 calories, 12 grams of fiber, and 30 grams of plant protein.  This delicious SuperSmoothie is dairy-free, soy-free, and hassle-free!  Blend one up today and let us know what you think at the Living Fuel Facebook Page.

LivingProtein Banana Split SuperSmoothie

2 scoops (1 serving) LivingProtein
1 teaspoon organic unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons organic almond butter
½ medium frozen banana (organic is best)
1 cup unsweetened organic vanilla or chocolate almond milk
¼ teaspoon organic cinammon
dash nutmeg (optional)
Mix in blender until smooth and enjoy!

Save the Bananas!

Rescue your overripe bananas instead of tossing them.  Remove the peel and freeze them in a freezer-safe container.  Use them in your favorite SuperSmoothie recipes and they’ll keep up to 3 months in your freezer.  The cold locks in the nutrition and taste, provides a creamy consistency and chills your SuperSmoothie in the process.

Peanut Butter!

Cookie Dough!

These two delicious tastes are thought of as rare treats or decadent indulgences.  No longer!  LivingProtein, Living Fuel’s revolutionary Functional Superfood Protein is not only powerfully nutritious and delicious, but is also incredibly versatile.  Often used to increase protein and fiber in LivingFuel SuperSmoothies, LivingProtein is terrific in a variety of your favorite recipes.

Here’s an amazingly simple, three-ingredient, gluten-free, milk-free, protein-rich, satisfying treat for the whole family—you’ll definitely want to lick the spoon!  This recipe is approximately 300 calories and provides 30 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber, powerful amino acids, and millions of live digestive enzymes and probiotics.

LivingProtein Peanut Butter Cookie Dough

2 scoops LivingProtein
2 heaping tablespoons organic peanut butter (may substitute organic almond butter)
Pour LivingProtein into a mixing bowl, add peanut butter.  Add cold purified water slowly as you mix ingredients with a fork or hand mixer on low setting.  Mix until the batter is the consistency of Mom’s cookie dough.  Chill for 30 minutes and enjoy!

Here at Living Fuel, we love this recipe right out the bowl.  Try adding organic dark chocolate chips, CocoChia Snack Mix or add the batter into organic Greek yogurt or your morning oatmeal.  For the “culinarily gifted”, add an organic egg, baking powder, and your skill to create a delicious baked peanut butter cookie recipe.  When you’ve mastered the recipe, share it with us at our Facebook page!
